Home Rehabilitation

The Osceola Council on Aging’s Home Rehabilitation programs offer repair and maintenance to improve the safety of housing owned and occupied by elderly, disabled or low-income families. Services include:

Chore – alterations to improve accessibility, and safety to the interior and exterior of the home such as yardwork, simple Household repairs, minor household maintenance, in addition to installation of safety devices and ramps for the disabled.

Weatherization – helps low-income seniors and families to permanently reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient by performing energy efficiency checks, and repair or replacement of insulation, doors, windows, water heaters, heating units, air conditioning and more, as allowed by program guidelines.

Helping Homebound Heroes– program for Veterans to help with alterations to the home which improves safety and accessibility.
